At Beaumont Community Preschool and Childcare groups our mission is to offer a high standard of affordable care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years in and around the local community. Our focus is building a foundation of families and practitioners working together to provide the best possible outcome for children.
By working with families, our mission is to provide a safe, stimulating and happy environment that enhances learning and provides positive experiences for each and every child, so that they can succeed and expand their own knowledge.
Our learning environment offers opportunities for children to develop at their own pace and to their full potential, by supporting them in building on their strengths and encouraging them to gain the skills necessary to prepare them for their next learning journey through school.
At Beaumont Community Preschool and Childcare groups our vision is families and practitioners working together to provide a safe, stimulating and happy environment that offers positive learning experiences for children. At Beaumont, every individual is valued and respected. Practitioners encourage ’learning through play’ and try to see things through the child’s eyes to help each and every one reach their full potential.
Practitioners create and maintain a developmentally appropriate learning environment, and actively encourage families to participate and enhance their child’s early education.
Guided by high expectations and with the knowledge that all children are unique and learn and develop at different levels and speeds, our team will provide a wide range of educational and fun opportunities based on the children’s interests that will support each child in learning to the best of his or her abilities.
As a setting, we are managed by a parent committee. The member of the committee are elected by parent's of the children who attend the setting. The election takes place at our Annual General Meeting.
A lot of the work the committee does is fun - building new partnerships with our parents and professionals; coming up with new fundraising ideas, getting exciting plans off the ground. There are some regular jobs as well - the three main roles on the committee are Chair; Treasurer and Secretary.
The committee is responsible for:
managing the setting's finances;
employing and managing the staff;
making sure the setting has, and works to, policies that help it to provide a high quality service; and
making sure that the setting works in partnership with the children's parents.
The Annual General Meeting is open to the parents of all of the children who attend the setting. It is our shared forum for looking back over the previous year's activities and shaping the coming years plans.
We at Beaumont Community Preschool & Childcare Groups always need parents support on the committee and everyone is welcome.
