Alongside manager represents and acts as a spokesperson for the pre-school if necessary.

Chairs meetings of the charity; including committee meetings, open meetings and general meetings, such as the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Sets the agenda for meetings together with the Secretary.

Co-ordinates the work of the committee to ensure effective administration.

The secretary takes minutes at the committee meetings. However, sometimes a member of the committee may offer to be a minute taker in the secretary’s absence.

In consultation with the chair, prepares agendas and minutes for meetings and any other necessary papers.

As the treasurer of the group, you are jointly responsible alongside administrative assistant for ensuring the group’s finances are accurate and true also paying in monies into the bank and signing cheques.
